STUDENT COUNSELLOR
To provide emotional and counseling support to the students of Deccan Group of Institutions the Institution has on campus student Counselors whose services are offered free of cost to every student who so wants it or who is referred to the counselor by the administration. The students are advised that they may approach them with proper appointment and get the benefit of their experience and advice.
Objective
- To promote a positive attitude among students
- To help students cope with personal and other issues.
- To help enhance student success by promoting student-teacher-parent relations.
How can the counselor help you?
- Provide the right guidance.
Career counseling
- Support with academic and personal issues.
- Assist with enhancing program concentration and study skills to help a student balance his/her activities.
Making an appointment:
- Any student who would like to visit the counsellors by a prior appointment
- Students can also see the counsellors based on staff recommendation
- Any parent who would like to meet the counsellors would have to make a prior appointment for the same.
