ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE (2017-2018)

 (Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in technical Institution, Universities including Deemed to be Universities imparting technical education)

 

As required by AICTE, Deccan Group of Institutions has constituted the Anti Ragging Committee (ARC) headed by a senior professor. This is in compliance with the All India Council for Technical Education, Official Notification, Dated: 1st July 2009, vide F.No.37- 3/Legal/2009, which being statutory in nature, are binding on Technical Institutions. In this direction, Deccan Group of Institutions has set up an ARC in August 2016. Before this, matters of this nature were dealt directly by the administration through need-based committees headed by the senior most faculty members.

 COMPOSITION OF THE ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE

  The committee consists of 20 (twenty) members.
